FAQs
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: The only insurance that I am In-Network with is traditional Medicare (and their secondary insurances). All other clients will be self pay. I am able to print out the bill and paperwork needed for you to submit to your insurance company, and they may or may not reimburse you a portion of your costs. They may also apply it to your deductible. Each insurance is different and you will need to call them and find out what their policy is.
Q: Do I need an order?
A: Only those with Medicare insurance will need an order from their provider. Virginia has what is referred to as “Direct Access” for physical therapists which allows patients to receive physical therapy services without an order. If you are currently under the care of another provider for your primary complaint, I am required to send them the Initial Evaluation and Plan of Care as we are a team and I strive to work with your provider, not as a replacement for them.
Q: What are your fees?
A: For self pay patients, the costs are $150 for the initial evaluation and $100 for each follow up visit. Payment is due at the time of service and can be paid by card, check, or cash. There is a $50 fee for no-shows and chronic cancellations.
